Physical Description: Sunao is tall for her age, and being a basilisk her skin has a slightly grayish tone to it. She has a pair of red-brown and gray feathered wings and a long tail covered in pebbly scales. Her eyes are green, with shades varying from yellow to blue showing in them, and her expression can be angelic or diabolic as she chooses.

Attire: Sunao can usually be found wearing a black turtleneck and a green-and-blue plaid pleated skirt. She has white knee socks and black slippers, and her hair is usually pulled back by holders with two little green balls on them for decoration.

Personality: A manipulative bully and spoiled brat. Suna likes being the center of attention, and likes it when people do what she says. Around adults, she will act like a perfect angel, but once they're out of sight, the trouble begins. Many children around her age, including George, are terrified of her, while some others admire or envy her. She rarely fights, but always bosses the other children around-they will always only play games that she wants to play, and she always gets to pick first who will be on her team.

History: Sunao's parents are wealthy travelers, never staying in one place for long. They preferred to visit places where there were no other talasiths, so they could open their eyes; looking into the eyes of an adult basilisk can kill, so considerate basilisk-talasiths keep their eyes closed whenever other people are around. They've developed other perceptions, to keep from running into things and are able to get some idea of what things look like, but it's not the same as actually being able to see.

Sunao hasn't yet grown into this power-it usually begins to show itself around adolescence-but she is able to make a sound that turns anything into stone. Like all basilisk-talasiths, she eats only stone, and has a sweet tooth for gemstones (rock candy). She was happy traveling with her parents-they gave her everything she wanted and she had their full attention. Then, her little brother hatched, and her parents dumped her with Riane while they went off on another long trip. They explained it by saying she needed time around children her own age, but Sunao was bitter about it and expressed it by being sour to everyone she lived with.

She soon learned to enjoy bossing around-er, playing with the other children. No one can call her "Sunao-chan" without her permission (Sometimes she insists upon "Sunao-sama"), and learned that her ability to turn things into stone served as a good threat to get them to behave as she wanted them to. She does have friends, and she can be nice if she's in a good mood, but she's more often sullen about her parents leaving her behind while they went off on some great adventure. Her mood improved, though, after she met Puchi Sai. She decided he was cute and appointed him as her future husband.
