Kaelor is a being of incredible age, with both human and Elorhan blood. He may be older than the split between Elorhe and Earth, though how he could have attained such near immortality is unknown. He seems to have spent some time on Earth, attaining a cult-like following that included Jeremy’s mother Mara. She was entrusted with the key sephlim and betrayed Kaelor, sending him back to Elorhe and holding him there with the key’s magic. He was only able to break the barrier with erilim long after Mara had died, having entrusted the key to her son, who did not know how to use it.
