Well, things have changed, haven't they? |
Name: Kreis Delamuir
Meaning: Kreis = "circle" or "ring" in German
Age (at the beginning of the story): 17, nearly 18
Height: 5 feet, 11 inches
Occupation: member of the order of the Crane
Family: His human father is deceased, and he doesn't know whether or not his Elorhan
mother is alive.
Resides In: The Abbey of the Crane, in the town of Norana
Appearance: Kreis's straight, dark-blue hair is between chin- and shoulder-length. His eyes are a dark shade of red, a color that attracts almost as much attention as his half-human ears. He is tall, and likes to wear a dark-red coat that matches the color of his eyes.
Personality: Kreis tries to avoid letting small things bother him, and usually manages
to keep his temper in check, even around people he doesn't like. Despite his half-human
heritage, his friendly demeanor and handsome appearance has led most people to like him.
He doesn't talk much around people he doesn't know well, but he does his best to be polite.
He is a little uncomfortable around girls, however, especially now that many of the girls
he lives with in the Abbey are convinced that they're in love with him, and ends up blushing
a lot.
Personal History: Kreis was born in the Abbey in Norana on the same day as Triana.
His mother left when he was about a year old, promising to return for him, but never doing
so. He grew up with Triana under the care of Faradine Marchaun. Kreis knows very little
about his parents; he knows his father was human, and that his mother had been an orphan
Faradine had raised, but no more than that. However, he still has a spark of hope that his
mother is alive and he will see her again.
Kreis grew up in an awkward position, the only boy in an abbey full of girls.
Although he was able to spend time with other boys in the town, most of his time was spent
with Triana and her friends. He is unaware that she has a crush on him, and is terrified
of the prospect of marrying any of the girls at the Abbey…or, for that matter, getting
married at all.
