Time began when Creation exploded, the glowing shards of its former majesty embedded into each lifeform born in the universe. Gods and Goddesses, the children of Creation, were given the task of governing the evolving worlds.

Eons later, on an otherwise insignificant planet, a race developed with intellect and resourcefulness rivaling that of the gods themselves. However, their civilization is ruled by Nanoven, a god who treats them as menial slaves.
